Postpartum Massage

Postpartum massage is a powerful therapeutic tool for helping restore the body, ease recovery, and encourage healing after childbirth. We understand how precious this transitional time is. We also want to acknowledge how very challenging and difficult it can be. Just like a newborn child needs nurturing love and attentive care, your body also needs time to heal and recover from the tremendous changes that pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum recovery can bring. AHH is committed to providing the highest level of prenatal and postpartum care — a holistic approach that supports women both physically and emotionally.

Current recommendations advise waiting at least six weeks after childbirth prior to receiving a postpartum massage.
