mind·ful·ness

noun
noun: mindfulness

the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.”their mindfulness of the wider cinematic tradition”

a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

Tip to think about: To enhance your peace of mind daily, it is helpful to keep your awareness on the present and not what happened in the past or what could happen in the future. Gently accept yourself and your life…sometimes moment to moment until you can feel the gift of possibility only the present can provide.

Achieve Maximum Well-Being with a Holistic Approach to Your Every Day

We always say balance is the key. But what does it really mean?

A holistic approach is our answer. Holistic Health is actually an approach to life. Rather than focusing on illness or specific parts of the body, it focuses on you as a whole person and how you interact with your environment.

It has 3 main points of emphasis:

1) Mind
2) Body
3) Spirit

The goal?

To achieve maximum well-being, where everything is functioning the very best that is possible.

How can you do it?

You’ll need to accept responsibility for your own level of well-being. This means that you need to make intentional everyday choices (your mind) that are good for your body. These are the little things that add up to an improved overall well-being. It takes practice and through the strength of your spirit, you can take control. Soon you’ll find yourself feeling better everyday, creating a life that you love!
